Over the past few years, I've talked to a lot of doulas and other birth professionals. We often discuss what led us into this line of work and many of the doulas, especially new ones, talk about how their initial doula training left them needing more. They felt like they needed more information or more support. Many felt that they weren't ready to support clients and were unsure of what to do next.
Growing your business is a journey and, just like our birth and postpartum clients, having knowledgeable support can make a HUGE difference.
